Discover ways to flow through sensual movements of Belly Dance fused together with other modern dance styles. Experience your body’s fluidity and grace while improving coordination and increasing strength. In class we will have fun moving through sequences with different qualities, some being very meditative, others more dynamic, leading to a feeling of expansiveness and freedom in our bodies.
No previous dance experience required.
Comfortable yoga/dance style attire is recommended. A scarf around the hips or skirt can be worn to help accent movements but is not required.
There will be some stretching and core work done on the floor so please bring a mat or towel if you prefer to not be directly on the floor. Mats are also available to rent for $2.
