In Yoga we often think as Alignment as something that we should do or that a pose should look a certain way to be picture perfect. But true alignment brings us closer to ourselves and the individual essence of each pose. Yoga poses are more than just a combination of strengthening and stretching exercises. Each pose has a vibration and that vibration creates immediate and long lasting change with dedicated practice.
Our goal is practitioners can be to simply relieve basic stress or tension in the mind and body, but we can take the practice further without necessarily making the poses harder or more intricate. As we spend time understanding each pose and it's various forms of alignment we can learn about our own bodies.
Join Lynne for a special workshop understanding the deeper practices of yoga that are possible through mindful and sensitive alignment. Each body is unique so we will address both universal principles and body specific. If you are working with a specific injury or issue this is great place to come and learn and we will address injuries as we practice. Workshop will include: Quiet Centering, Floor Based Full Body Warm Up and Conscious Dynamic Asanas
